Growing up Liz fell in love with sports at an early age.  At age 8, she found her passion in golf.  She played four years on her high school's Varsity Boy's Golf Team (first female golfer to represent her high school), then earned two golf scholarships to Rend Lake College (NJCAA) and then Arkansas Tech University (NCAA).  During her Freshman year, Liz finished 9th in the Nation during the NJCAA Women's Golf National Tournament earning Second Team All-American honors, and helped her team to a 10th place finish.  She is a three-time Rend Lake College Hall of Fame inductee, twice as a player, and as an Assistant Coach.  After her playing career was over, Liz pursued her dream of becoming a member of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) by earning her Teaching and Club Professional card.  She earned her Class A status in 2012.

 

After college, Liz found her parent's 35mm film camera and began taking photos of her dogs, birds, and sporting events.  She learned the ins and outs of an Olympus 35mm film camera and found she was hooked on sports photography.  With over 18 years of experience in sports photography, Liz is currently working on expanding her portfolio to include Nature/Landscape Photography, Professional Portraits, Aerial Photography/Videography, and Pet Photography.

Liz earned her Part 107 Certification in August of 2022.
